The process of selecting my character for my allusion was first trying to find what kind traits that I have and then trying to match up the appropriate character. But after a while I couldn't find someone that is like me. So then I thought what kind of hobby that what best suit someone which was Posideon where he is in the ocean which is how I like to go to the beach. So this is how I got Posideon as my allusion.
The poetic techinques that i first tried to use was repetion but then it got kind of hard to get it like that so I tried something else. So then I used the technique of just trying to "show" my character traits rather just "tell" them to the reader.
My design process was to find a ocean that would represent both of us as we both like to be at sea. Then I used something that would characterize him also with the fishes which I used the lasso and copy tool which allowed me to have the same fish 4 times and inside of those fishes I put character traits that I used in my poem so that it would represent Posideon and I.
The creative response such as my poem and graphic now help me to realize that the world is alot more beautiful if we think of it as an allusion but once we think that it is just about us then that is were we go wrong getting caught up in ourself. But also that it teaches me the moral values that we have that is similar to other poeple or allusion also have.
You have completed your assignment. I would highly recommend, however, that you put more thought and effort into these reflections. If you were to read it slowly and carefully, I think you would see all of the grammatical mistakes and, more importantly, you would see where you could clarify some of the confusing ideas that are presented. mrs s
